With the admin's permission, I’m sharing a resource that might be helpful. Inciteful Med is a knowledge tool designed to empower patients and caregivers. You can ask it questions or upload medical context (records, labs, results), and it will find and explain relevant research in plain language so you can better understand your health, get answers, and advocate for yourself. Every statement is cited directly from peer-reviewed medical literature, with full excerpts and sources. No marketing. No misinformation. Just science, made understandable.

My cofounder and I built this after using medical literature to realize a family member had been misdiagnosed. The research that helped us - research that saved a life - was hidden in plain sight. As two tech folks, we were shocked there wasn't a better way. So we built a way to help others find research that’s relevant to them.

I have had chronic pain in the middle of my left foot ever since I was 4 years old. It used to occur bi-weekly, but now it's daily and my pain level is worse than it was back then. I have had a new symptom this year. My calf muscles get tight to the point where it's too uncomfortable. Elevation makes me feel better. My normal pain would be about a 4 out of 10. My flares would be about a 7 out of 10. I have had an x-ray, CT scan, MRI, ultrasound, and blood test. My ferritin/iron is low (not anemia yet though). My TSH/thyroid is a bit low. My RBC/red blood cells is a bit low as well.
